I have had my 05' FX35 for over a year now. Purchased it in Chicago and due to recent events find myself back home in Southern California. This is my first stock (non-modded) car in several years and getting the bug to make some changes.

I haven't seen any modded FX35s in San Diego or Orange County, but notice lots of the signatures from people here are out in Southern California. I used to have a Honda CBR F2 and an S2000 so thinking making the FX35 faster is on the short list!

I have enjoyed "lurking" on this board over the past 6 months and learned cool things like I can install a 6MT and the unlock button on my key fob rolls down my front windows.

Will look forward to seeing everyone around the board and hopefully in person too!

hey jay! welcome to iS!

Glad your enjoying the fx... however the s2k must have been a blast to drive!!

No offense, but the FX35 is nothing compared to the S2000! I got the FX35 because driving in Chicago with all wheel drive and a back seat for dogs is wonderful. Driving an S2000 in snow, ice, pot holes the size of small countries (in town), with the top up is like my own personal hell.

Thanks for the welcome.

welcome back to the land of sun and shine! looks like it's time to pick up another drop-top and/or bike to enjoy the weather!

Welcome. Getting rid of the cbr was wrong if you have a speed fetish.

Think it is more of an addiction than a fetish. Remember when I owned both CBR and S2000 I had to hit 100 mph at least 2x a day!:glasses:

Once the job market improves for me will be picking up something without a top or doors again.

Welcome to the forum, what do the dogs think of the FX?

My American Eskimo LOVES the FX. The center console is where he puts his front paws the minute he gets in the truck. Even leans back when he sees me stopping, hes a crazy car rider. My Golden Retreiver, loves riding in the back and leaning his head out of the windwo, he even complains when the windows are up on the freeway.

Thanks for the welcome everyone. Ordered and had installed a USA-Spec PA-15 iPod adapter installed (at $55 dollars for installation wasn't worth breaking anything).

Just ordered a set of H&R spring which should get here this week. Now need to lay out a plan for torque settings, spring compressors, jack & stands before jumping in.
