Hey Guys:

Ive looked at several FX35 sites and this one seems to be the most FX35 specific. I just picked up a 2009 AWD FX35 and I must say its the most fun car Ive ever had. Im interested in an exhaust system and so far by reading the forums NISMO has the edge. Does anybody have any tech info as far as spectrum gains and gas mileage? I understand from the forums that 2nd gen fx's are a bit toned down (exhaust tone) as compared to the earlier fx version. Im also interested in wheel and tire combos but dont want to loose the fx's inherent handling capabilities, its no big deal really im content with the touring package, just curious if a larger wheel and tire combo is possible without losing the aggressiveness of the AWD system.

Nismo is a good all round performer for N/A. It'll give 6hp w/ no loss on the bottom& the sound is delicious.

^ yup, good question there.

I would assume the 09 chassis is like the G37 chassis, have not researched the wheel base and stuff of the newer models. Rear sub frames are different on the new chassis'.

Welcome to the Scene. Everyone with aftermarket wheels have had no issues with handling of the FX and in fact with wider tires, spacers, wider wheels, etc..., handling improves that much more compared to stock.

Welcome to :iS: all things FX. I noticed a marked improvement in handling capabilities when I went to 22X9 Wheels with 265/40/22 Hankook RH06 tires.
The Hankook RH06's work great in summer as well in snow. I tried to make them squeel in the corners but they just grip like on rails. There are plenty of other mods yo improve handling just read through some of the stuff on this site.
Enjoy your FX---------:tup::tup:

Great Answers

Guys,
Thanx for the answers, from exhaust to wheel and tire combo replies. I noticed upper left link for best answer, really all answers were good and helpful. Its a relief to know that I can go 22's and gain performance, and its great to know right away which exhaust is right for the car without "exhaustive research". Thanx again for the Welcome guys.
