I purchased my 07 FX35 10 months ago. I am in the greater Chicago area. Before my FX, I was driving a 99 Accord (old lame car, but it still runs fine at 150000 miles now). I always wanted an FX since it came out in 2003. That was the only car I ever "fell in love at the first sight". I was a student at that time and the price tag was too high for me to pick it up. Last year, finally, because of a new member added to my family, I finally convinced my wife to get an SUV for the family. The funny thing is that somehow I like the 1st Gen FX's look a lot more than the 2nd Gen, so I was looking for a low mileage 08 1st Gen FX35 at beginning and ended up with a 07 Beryllium FX35 with 28k miles on it. The outcome was good that even my wife likes to drive it (She has a 08 MINI CooperS). The FX drives much better than my old Accord but I had a G37 as a loaner once and would like to have that kind of acceleration on my FX too. So I searched online and found this forum and would like to get some advice from all you experienced FX fellows.

welcome to IS and congrats on your purchase. for that kind of acceleration, you will have to either strip the car of everything and leave it with a driver site seat on the inside to make it light weight or add a turbo to it. I like the latter very much.
Welcome to the forum! There are bolt-ons for incremental power gains but if you want big power you have to go internal or FI. IMO - If you are serious come up with a master plan before laying down your hard earned cash. The FX is such a great ride, more power = even better....
