New Wheels: TSW Nurburgring

After researching a bunch, I finally went with the TSW Nurburgring in gunmetal black. It actually doesn't look too bad without a drop so I'm going to keep it as is.

You can feel the weight savings in the way the car moves bumps (feels more at ease and more responsive) and the way it picks up speed.

Official weight is 23lbs for this wheel vs. 30+ for our OEM 20".

I went with the 20x8.5 ET40.

Thanks to everyone that posted up great info!

They look great , much better than the 2nd Gen OEM 20's

Yeah, that's damn near affordable. I think new wheels will be a spring wish list item. :)

Nice wheels, but IMO 20's just aren't an upgrade for our cars. I think 22's are the perfect size, but wheels still look great for what they are.

Why didn't you go for a wider setup?

Thanks for the compliment guys =) I work in the tire industry so I got minor hook ups with wheels/tires. Ebay sells the wheels for 1100+ and tires can be easily had for 150/tire (onlinetires.com).

Went with a narrower 20" because this is my daily driver so I didn't want to spend too much money - Just wanted it to be as comfortable as possible. My track toy is already a money pit...

Definitely give these wheels a try - I think bronze on gunmetal would've looked real nice too.

1700?? Wow, serious bang for the buck. I agree with you on 20s for daily drivers who see some miles. I would never go larger than a 20, looks good, performs the best, and cheap to replace tires. Nice job!

Same reason I chose Nurburgring too. Can't find 20's that weight under 30lbs with price under $1200.

Here's mine. Same spec but its a polished finish.
