New Wheels, Tire and H&R Questions

Or to make sure they meet their manufacturing minimums before they produce product to cover their asses.......

I'm not planning on ordering my springs until I know they are available. I checked out the place you got your springs Logan and they will notify the purchaser when they are available if you want.

I ordered mine from Tirerack. They don't bill you until it ships, so you might as well order it from them, that's the way I looked at it

19" wheels

Are you going to sell your 18" wheels and tires after the 19" swap? I am looking for a complete set.

On the fence at the moment. They make for a nice winter set up but I work from home so I'm lucky to not have to drive in much of a mess. I'll post that up in about 2 weeks when I've got the new shoes on if I end up selling.

(im)patiently waiting :) ... They are building out to spec and the wheels should arrive late next week.

They will potentially have a date with the shop to get powder coated depending on how I like the color. The availability of the new 20" size were limited so I jumped at a set of 'Titanium' ... not sure what to expect color wise and I was originally wanting a dark gunmetal. I'll plan on taking some before/after shots, as well as weighing them so we can add this wheel/info to our list.

The world awaits....hey, is your avatar a screen shot of the gen I itunes visualizer? Just went back and checked the 1st link you attached of the boxster, if the image hasn't been saturated too heavily the gunmetal should be plenty dark. Looks great in the image and on the site (gun metal finish does appear to be lighter on the site)

Quick update, got my tires today and wheels are being delivered tomorrow. Hope to have them on this weekend depending on if they get powder coated ... will definitely post some pics & weights tomorrow though. Long wait, hopefully worth it!

Hey Sydney, A friend of mine just picked up his F14s they are titanium and are 20 x 9" for his 2nd Gen G35X.
I figured you wouldn't mind a few pics of his so you will have a better idea of the titanium color.

Thanks Gee, much appreciated! I think I'm going to get them powder coated a dark gunmetal, that's been the plan all along as I anticipated the titanium to be lighter than what I had wanted (only color they had available at the time). I think those pics confirm. The 20's should look perfect on the G, would love to see the final pics.

He won't be installing them on the G until Spring . There are a couple of guys that have them on their G35s over on g35driver.com and they look very good.

Got a chance to look at everything and am quite pleased. Seem to be good quality. The pics GEE posted above are very true to color. Will be powder coating these, as that was the look I was going for, but not a bad looking color at all. Got to weigh them in too and at 20x10, et45 they were at 26.3 lbs. I'm excited to get these things painted and mounted to see if I can feel a difference!

Logan, still shopping around but so far these guys have been the most responsive/helpful: http://www.seattlewheel.com/

I've been talking to a guy named Zak. Their site says $190 for PC (assuming that's per wheel) but he quoted me at $140 per. I think I can still find a cheaper deal, but like I said, he's been very helpful and I kind of feel like it may be worth it to pay a little more knowing they seem to pay attention to detail. I'll let you know if one of these other places actually get back to me and sound good.

wow PC seems kinda high .... I paid $65 a wheel here is SoCal. I would think $100 would be more reasonable.... in your area.

I paid $ 100 per for my old 22's They picked up locally did all prep and returned them ... Pretty decent I think
