I have always loved these rims and was hoping to see what they would look like on an FX!
They look great especially from an angle, to help with your issue of ride height the best fix to give it an inch lower without lowering the wheel wells is to paint the trim peice around the well!!!!!!! Just color code the black peice of plastic into white!! (This will provide almost an inch on all sides of the wheel! giving the wheel the look of a great stance and less air space)

I agree, painting the trim would probably make the wheel gap look smaller. I've also been kicking around the idea of the full aero kit which would replace all the black trim but I'm saving up for a hose so any additional mods are on the back burner for now.
 
I like the idea of painting the wheel trim! I am about to pull the trigger on some Giovanna Kilis Just wish I could find better pictures!
