new tranmission question

I need some advice,
A new tranmission was replaced for my FX, and I pick her up today.
Do I need a period of time to baby it before get back to normal driving habit ?.

Transmissions use roller / ball bearings, which shouldn't require any break-in. The gear meshing would be checked at the factory so don't think it would need any real break-in period.
The whole idea of a break-in process is to refine the mating surfaces, which means removing material. At no point in this process does anything magically become stronger.
Maybe just baby it for a little bit if you feel safer about it. If it feels good, continue as normal

I had the transmission replaced in my 06 about two months ago, and Infiniti told me to take it easy the first 1000 miles. I think you will be fine!
