Infiniti newbie here. Previously owned various Mercedes over the past 10 years from the SL55, SL550’s to the CLS550’s all in various years/generations. Other than the SL55 AMG the others were all very reliable.
Wanted an SUV/Crossover and was initially considering a Range Rover but the horrible reliability made me look elsewhere. The other option was a MBZ GLE43 Coupe but the horrible depreciation on MBZ made me look into Infiniti. Would have loved to find the unicorn: FX50 with the V8 since I have been driving twin turbo V8’s for the past 10 years but was not able to find a low mileage one.
Then I came across a CPO 2017 QX70S in Arizona with only 10k and was able to negotiate bumper to bumper warranty good through 2024 or 100k at a good price so getting of the 2016 CLS550 and becoming an Infiniti owner. It is the Black Obsidian with the Graphite interior which was an appealing color option to me.
