NEW to the forum

Hey guys,

Just wanted to introduce myself as I'm new to this forum and also new to a 2004 Black on Black FX45. Bought it about 2 weeks ago and it drives great. Looking forward to brave the coming Edmonton winter. I traded a G35 coupe for this and, although the chassis is the same, I'm still not used to an SUV. Couple questions for you all:

1. Anyone recommend a touch up KIT for paint chips?
2. Where do Edmontonians (or Canadians in general) buy some mods? (eg GT Spec braces, STB, grounding kits, etc?)
3. Anyone install a Compustar remote starter into theirs? (I'm having problems with my newly installed one)

Welcome to the Scene... what wrong with your Compustar? I have alarm and auto start installed in my FX.

Thanks for the warm welcome. My compustar is fixed now. It was a faulty remote that wouldn't communicate with the car. The new compustar pro P2w9000FMR is great though...it has a lot of convenient features. I recommend it to anyone who needs a remote starter.

Still don't have pictures though. It's just too cold here to get my FX clean.

I think I'm looking to get wheel spacers (maybe 20-25mm?), front window tints, strut bar and sways, angel foglights, and maybe grounding cables (depending on the reviews) come spring time. I'll be sure to come to IS for info!

Check out the Group Buy section. You should find a group buy on GTSpec equipment currently running from Z1.
