Rubare - that is the magic question! I am wondering the same. 1st off you certainly don't want to stagger/different widths from front to rear, etc. that isn't only not recommended it's a big no-no! Some people don't realize, that even if you have different tires on front and rears with AWD that can even screw up your drivetrain after time.
I wanted 22" but worry about them fitting, now willing to take the chance, 21" rims seem to be slim pickings so I will probably stick with 20" x 8.5 like the factory wheels

If you up on the wheels thread you will see that no with aftermarket 22's or even 24's have had any problems with their FX. I personally have had my 22's on for over 2 years and 50k+ miles with absolutely no problems.
But a staggered setup on a AWD vehicle is not really recommended. I also had this setup with my nismo track wheels with 8.5width at the front and 9.5's at the rears and did not really have any issues but then again I did not use these on a lengthy basis for daily driving. But I think short term use is fine as long as you keep the overall tire diameter as close to the stock specs as possible.

FYI, this is not the complete catback just the rear muffler. I think the catback is $895 on the HKS site. But I'm sure you can find it cheaper.

So Dr.2K you're saying you slapped on 22" with Eibach springs, and didn't have to shave out the wheel wells or anything??? I'm confused how some people have said they had to and some haven't???? I'd go with 22" if I knew I wouldn't have any problems...
No I did have to shave my rear wheel wells but ONLY because I went with 305 tires. Even with my 22's being 10in wide and my +35 offset, if I had gone with 295's or for sure 285's I would NOT have had to shave anything. But like psiclne has said, this all depends on how much offset, wheel width and tire size (with a lot or no sidewall bulge) you choose.
You can slap 22's and lower it without having to shave anything if your wheel/tire combo is conservative.
