New to me FX50 in Atlanta

Thursday I hooked up on a 2009 FX50 with 10k miles. It is Midnight Mocha and to continue the coffee theme has Java interior. It was a corporate car that went into service 10/09 so I still have a lot of warranty left. I had an 08 Cayenne S that my son totaled out on his driving test (DOT lady in the car) and I have been on a quest to find a suitable replacement ever since. I could not be happier with the 50 and am looking forward to some nice weather to really put it through it's paces.

By the way I think you mean 2009 not 2008. The 2nd gen FX is only 2009-2011 ;)
 
Welcome Tommy. I also have a 2009 FX50S and live in Sugar Hill, I know what you mean about the weather. It's been a week since I last took the FX out for a spin.
Where are you located?
Too bad the Falcons blew it last night. Being an ex Wisconsonite I was rtooting for both teams!

I had an 08 M3 in the middle so my memory is tainted. After driving a double clutch M3 shifting the 50 is a joke so I leave it in auto except to kick it down a gear or two on the highway. It does however shift better than the Cayenne did. The Cayenne was smoother revving and riding. The 50 has a much better GPS and I love the cameras. It has been icy here so I can't say how it handles. All in all I am really happy with it.

I'm in Peachtree Corners. I got to use the snow button on the way home which will be one of the few times that light comes on. The Falcons really let us down but the Patriots just did the same thing.

I let him drive it today. He enlisted in the Army recently so I'm being extra nice while he's around.
