Hello FX community
. I currently own a 2008 Infiniti G37S coupe, kept really nice, only about 9000 miles on it, my second car (used for transport) is an 06 Mercedes ML500 (hand me down) with about 34K miles on it. I'm thinking about swapping in both of them for an 09 FX35. Deal..or no deal?
My reasons for getting rid of the G37, it's a great car, really quick, looks mean etc. but honestly, I've outgrown it...in two ways. Mentally, I'm done with the whole ZOMG I'M SO LYK FAST AND FURIOUS!!!!, and also physically: the car hurts my lower back if I drive her for any longer than 2 hours. I'm not a big guy, 6' 1", 160 pounds...but I have long limbs and need a lot of leg/arm room. When I bought the car, it didn't seem like a big issue, but now the ride just kills me any time I have to drive long distances.
Also, I have alot more traffic in my car than I did 2 years ago. Girlfriend, friends without rides, groceries, music equipment, textbooks (college kid) etc. and a 2 door really isn't practical. Also, I don't really want to keep the ML500...it's my mom's car from about 4 years ago that she let me take to college. It's gold, woodgrain interior...just feels really, "granny"ish. I just don't get that awesome ride in it like I do the G37.
So, after this long winded post...what does the community think, is the FX35 worth trading in my 2 for? Or should I just stick with the ML500/G37 set up? Also, I think I could get the FX for almost nothing with the trade in on the 2...if my figures add up correctly.
