I am new to this forum and I look forward to the interaction and discussion. I own a 2016 Infiniti QX80. It's a really nice vehicle but I am having an issue with the air conditioning not cooling when the car is in traffic or not moving. I also notice the temperature guage on the dashboard goes up when the car is in traffic or the car is not moving.

Normally if the temperature guage goes up while idling the antifreeze is low. Take off the rad cap and pour in there. If thats not the issue it could be head gasket

It's not low on antifreeze. There are no oil leaks or fluid leaks. The radiator fan is working fine. I am assuming maybe it's a bad Thermostat. It runs fine when the car is driving. However when I stop for long periods (20 minutes) and the engine is running the a/c blows hot and the temperature guage in the dashboard starts to go up.
