New to coilovers…

Hello all, I am new to this site and just wondering if you guys have any recommendations/advice for lowering a QX70 with coilovers. I just bought a limited not long ago and am looking to slowly start dipping my feet in mods. I’ve got some BC coilovers coming in this week and it will be my first set of coils ever. Would a 2.5-3” drop require anything outside of an alignment? Anything I should know before I have the them installed? Thx

You will need the control arms to get the alignment in spes.

Im planning on slamming mine, I heard that you cant go too low due to hitting the strut tower.
