Ya unfortunately I really must apologize that I thought it would happen myself, as for the 2nd gen FX knobs I can at least digest the inventory with sales to the G37 people, but 1st gens, divided into 03-05 and 06-08, no one would want to buy them at the cost of what I can produce them for. If there are any ways around this I would definitely want to get them done for all the 1st gen supporters here.
 
I would be an immediate purchaser as well.

But I think Globe stated that its not feasible.

Globe maybe you can tell us how much it would cost if we can get like 10 people together for a set...

I understand it would be more than what the 2nd gen knobs are for, but there may be a possibility we are willing to still buy it.
 
Andrew (Aero) used mine on his 1st gen and it fit fine except that I believe it was a bit more shallow. Still able to grab and turn, but noticeably less surface area.

I saw that, he actually sent me close up pictures of them and there was a little bit of a gap.

I believe he admitted that while they worked fine, the look was just a little bit off. They didn't look perfect.
 
The 06-08 knobs are similar to the 09+ knobs in terms of the holding mechanism, but the actual knobs are taller and wider than the 09+. The 03-05, on the other hand, uses a totally different holding mechanism.

To be honest, 03-05 knobs are extremely difficult to produce on my end. The core will require processes that I cannot do, and will probably need to produce about a thousand of them to keep the cost acceptable, but will never sell close to that amount.

06-08 is something I'll need to figure out, but the demand will never be anything close to the 2nd gen FX knobs, which is shared with the EX and G. Even if there are 50 people interested in the 06-08 knobs, the price will still be much higher than the 2nd Gen knobs. No one will buy these knobs if they're like $100~$120 a set, no matter how great the quality is.
 
Without wanting to artificially drive up the price, I would pay $120 for a set if they are as good as the 2nd gen ones are.

Maybe I'm just an idiot though.
 
I personally can't see why someone would pay that much for 4 knobs. I think the stock ones look fine.
