First of all, this looks like a great forum. Thanks for offering the service!

With the purchase of a certified pre-owned 2019 QX60 in early November, 2022, I made my first entry into the luxury car field. At age 74, I wanted to have a really nice vehicle…just couldn’t afford the new car prices! And with just under 30,000 miles, and all the bells and whistles, this seems like a great purchase, and I’m a happy customer.

With one small exception, however. At around 1100-1400 rpm, with acceleration, the vehicle emits a low growl that vibrates the body. Once past these lower rpm’s, it performs normally and quietly. I figure a vehicle like this that had a new sticker price just above $60K, and is now only 3-1/2 years old, shouldn’t make a noise and vibration like this.

So my question is, has anyone on the forum had a similar experience, and if so, can it be fixed? I thought I’d check here first before I take it in for service, in case the recommendation is, use premium gas or something like that. Which I did try, by adding just over half a tank of premium on my first fill-up…assuming the dealership probably just filled it with regular. Anyway, it seemed to help a little, but the vibration and noise is still there.

I appreciate any suggestions or recommendations.
