Very nice colour combination. I remember detailing a car spec'ed identically and man was it striking.

This and the Umbria Twilight colour are the rarest I think.

Very nice garage and great cars! Welcome to the scene!

On your Mercedes keep an eye on your 7G transmission, Mercedes keeps it under radar, but there is a know issue that appears after 60K, your car is still under milage but if you begin experiencing sluggish shift upon first start up from 1 to 2 gear, it's time to get the software re-flashed. My CLK started having that issue, had to go all the way up to MBZ corporate to get it fixed, since I am out of warranty when it happened. Other than that a solid car, not as much work as my BMWs :)

thanks folks
Transmissions is a bitch of all German cars i am always on the radar ;)
Sold my 2010 BMW 550i M Sport with SAP transmission 35k miles as transmission was a total crap , never again

MB coupe feels like a tank and not much trouble except of some stupid suspension issues with struts
BMW is another story , if i knew how much trouble it gives i will never get one ,but once you get used to it
and fix all issues its a best car ever , its an addiction !
Infiniti - well its close to BMW ride and not so much exiting but man this car is soooo much more reliable
Just feel with gas and go , crazy fast for crossover, nice ride , all options , cool looking - we are very satisfied with this car ( bought for my wife )

I loved all our BMWs but eventually got fed up with the money pit they can be LOL. Great cars none the less, switched to Benz and besides the transmission issue it's a solid ride, gotta love the feel of a MBZ coupe. And I agree FX for being a big heavy tank, it sure can pick up and out run many cars.
Nice choice on the strut bar!

Well i switched to MB for the same reason - i am sick and tired from BMW ( new included ) permanent issues aka oil leaks , transmission , suspension , electronics etc
This was another reason to get FX35 instead of another money pit X5
I already have one money pit E39 , one BMW in one family is MORE than enough ;)

exactly, they were awesome when problem free, but the minute the issue(s) started I was holding to my wallet LOL. I had E30, E36 M3, E46, did not like the look and design of E90 and the current ones so feel like E46 and your E39 were the last of the true BMWs.

I saw your radar mod on mbworld, looks equally good on the FX :)

and i was owner of BMW 550i for 6 month and BMW 335i for 4 month and in the end i drive now MB and Infiniti
this says it all , I am at the age where i want to DRIVE and ENJOY my cars instead of FIXING them 24 * 7
LOL

Congratulations on your purchase. I am currently looking to add a 2014 white E350 to the collection soon. Hopefully by next month!

did my first infiniti oil change today MANN filter and full synthetic Castrol Edge 5W30 , same oil i use on my E39 BMW for a long time
for some reason 4.5Q ( as manual says ) comes to the low lever so i added 0.5Q to be on the high level - 5Q all

another question ,- should i change transmission oil at 60k miles ?
if so anyone knows how much dealer will charge for it ? this kind of work i dont want to do myself ...

No offense but the manual is very specific about when you should change particular fluids. What does your manual say? Have you called your dealer? What did they say it would cost?

We recently did a long trip to Denville Florida , 1600 miles both ways .
Average MPG was ~22MPG , one tank on 450 miles overall .
What a nice COMFORTABLE AND SPORT ( these things usually don't go together right ? ) crossover to go for a looong trips !!

Just changed spark plugs today :) have i mentioned that I LOVE this car ?? haha
