I went to a used car dealer to buy this G35 coupe. I had been searching all over my city for a dealer that one with the features I wanted (keyless entry, xenon lights, other fancy stuff), so I am very very interested in buying the car. After an OK test drive, I noticed some problems.
A. Windshield wipers didn't move, but they would spray fluid/cleaner.
B. A/C was fluctuating between cool and warm
C. When I turned the A/C on the car began to overheat.... Really really badly.
So I returned to the dealer and these are the solutions they gave me
A. Windshield wipers has a blown fuse, will replace the fuse.
B.System may need recharging
C. The car had been 'winterized' and needed the thermostat replaced.
I am going to comeback tomorrow to re-test drive, but I'm really worried about the overheating issue.
Again, I could not find this car ANYWHERE in my area, so I'm very interested in buying it. When I test drive it again, should I be looking for working fans? Or what troubleshooting should I do? Or should I just forget about the car?
