Hi, I have a 2007 FX35 and decided to join after getting some good info on fouled out coil packs last week. I've loved this car since I was a valet in college but never really considered buying one until last year when I needed a ride...so here I am!

Got the coil packs and spark plugs changed but now might have an O2 sensor issue...combing the boards now for info/maybe asking some questions soon. Haven't had any problems until the last week or two...grrr.

Thanks for having me, and good to know this is out there!

Thanks everybody!
Welcome to :iS:. So what lead you to the O2 Sensor? Any trouble code?

Yeah, it's throwing P0037 right now...which I understand can be any of several things. Not really sure how to diagnose it further myself. I reset the SES light and after about 10mi it came back on. Any ideas?

Also if two cylinders were misfiring (coil pack issue) then I see how things further along the line fouled out with too much fuel/too rich of a mixture. Assuming my O2 sensor(s) are bad, what's the risk of driving it? I understand some of them are "downstream" and are more crucial to the exhaust/emssions-which I'm not super worried about immediately.

I've already learned a lot on this forum and I really appreciate any advice if anyone has had a similar situation!
