Good Morning Everyone,

I’m currently shopping around for a brand new Fx and needhelp deciding and seeing if the Special Edition Fx is worth getting. I reallylike and I’m going to the dealer today to look at it because the incentives areridiculous, I was going to see the ILP coupe at first but now I really like theFX. They would both be around the 40k Mark and I kind of like the FX morebecause I live in Boston and winter is around the corner. Thank You in Advance and hope you guys canhelp me decide so I can join the Fam.

There's a 2010 FX50s with 10k miles on it at Norwood. And they also have a 2012 FX35 with that special edition blue sparkle paint and the gun metal grey turbine rims. Both nice!!

And for that matter they have an M56x thats pretty sexy too!

Go for the special edition. I absolutely love the wheels and the extra chrome bits on the 2012 but not a big fan of the new grill. 40k eor that car is robbery though. With the money you saved think of all the mods you can do. Good luck!

Without a doubt I'd personally would go with the used FX50S. The special edition is cool and all but you can't go wrong with a 50S lol, you should look into the G37X coupes owowowwowow then use that money you saved to convert it to an IPL lol
PS. I wouldn't bring my business to Norwood they screwed me over for warranty repairs

CvCalo: If I were you I'd get a FX50 instead of the Special Edition FX35. I did some searching on Autotrader and this seems like a really good deal. Not sure what color combination your looking for but check this out http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.j...ype=b&num_records=25&cardist=43&standard=true. ( low miles for a 09, midnight mocha w java interior) good color combo and miles in my opinion. Heck, I'd even consider trading mine in for that just because it seems like a good deal.

Edit: since there's no pictures posted on that check out there actual site http://www.harteinfiniti.com/preowned/2009-Infiniti-FX50-Connecticut-JNRBS18W19M201509.htm

Really dude? Do tell! I deal with that guy Chris G. He seems like a decent guy. Did they hose you really bad?

For me it's either Norwood or Inskip in Warwick. And Inskip repeatedly tried to bend me over, never again!

Hows Herb Chambers for service?

Welcome to IS and have you checked out the Used FX at Herb Chambers? I believe I know the FX50 at Norwood that Squichymedic is talking about. Its blue color with wheat color interior. I personally don't like wheat color interior. Isay get a used 2010 or 2011 FX that way you you don't pay as much for a 2012 unless you really Ike the 2012

Don't get me wrong they all seem like nice people when getting paper work done, but it happened when I had my dash replaced. They messed up my shifter assembly, I could drop it into drive without the car even on pretty dangerous IMO. They stuck me with some guy who didn't work on my car, all he could answer me was " I wasn't the one who was working on the car I have no idea" bluntly asked him why was I talking to him then. With the help of IS asked them to give me everything in writing when they told me they didn't have to remove the center console out to replace the dash. Emailed the manager that same night about the situation, got an email back from a different manager, saying it wasn't their fault it was broken but they will fix it free of charge.

-Keep in mind this was after 3 trips back and forth and a few more emails in between also
I'd go with Herb chambers, Warwick is kinda far from me, but I usually do all maintenance myself with my brother or a local trusted mechanic

Personally I would get the used FX50s. I see someone mentioned they have a used M56x there too. You can't go wrong with getting that! 420hp and the extra torque make it a seller to me. And the interior is just amazing! You can't go wrong with either.

I just got a preowned FX50... nothing like the smoothness of it. The FX35 Limited Edition is great if you want to be exclusive and not worry about the FX50 gas mileage

As soon as the 09's come off warranty, the aftermarket will step up (slightly) for the fx35. If you like modding, I'd suggest that one, but make sure its AWD. If you don't care about mods, go for the 50S for sure.

I'd go for the FX50. All that special edition stuff means nothing. Cool color and wheels but not worth the extra money.

the FX50's are well worth the money for the 14" front brakes alone in my opinion... I just jumped on my 2009 FX50 b/c it has all the amenities I need. Only thing you won't get you can swap out are the new chrome dialed heated/cooled seat buttons, and the updated Navigation/XM weather function

did you swap out the nav with what?

no i meant the seat dials you can swap out..

the nav system i have is the 2009 version.... 2010 they changed and updated the nav system compared w/ the 2009's...

and also 2009's were the only FX's to all have paddle shifters

Yeah I have my seat dials already swapped, but you also mentioned the updated nav, so did you swap that out also?

I wonder why they got rid of paddle shifters? They are pretty cool especially for winding roads!
