Well, I've been lurking around a few forums for a couple months now and I keep coming back to IS, so here I am. My car (06 FX35 Sport) has been here at home while I was at school, but now I'm back and have been loving every moment driving it. I can safely say it's my favorite car I've had so far. The sound, design, and performance is just what I was looking for in a car. I've got the Stillen Z-tube/Hi-flow Intake package coming in this weekend, followed by some tint, and hopefully that high gloss black grill without the badge that I've seen around. Which brings me to my first question...Where does one get that grill? From what I've gathered, it's a custom job, but if someone could hook that up it would be greatly appreciated. Anyway, love the site, love the car, and definitely glad to be here.

Welcome to InfinitiScene...

I'm pretty sure you need to get a hold of another grill... cut out the center part (with the emblem), then fill in the cut out part with the other grill...

that is... if it's the grill I'm thinking

Welcome to the scene!

As far as the grill question. The person who used to do them is no longer doing it so if you want that style grill you will have to do it on your own as trainerKen has suggested. Not mod is not hard but you will need an extra grill, a bit of skill and a LOT of elbow grease.

Welcome to the site.

Here is a thread on the badgless grille and a picture on how I made mine Badgeless Grill - InfinitiScene.com

Thanks for the welcomes, guys. And yeah, that's the grill I'm thinking of. I guess I'll be looking for another grill, then. I'll see if eBay has any. Any other places I should be looking at besides the dealership and eBay?

make sure you get the 06up grill... they are different... the 06 has slightly thinner blades than the 04. ebay has them occasionally but they are normally $150ish. good luck... ive been looking for 3 months

Thanks, guys. I've got a few things lined up for the car as a present to myself, haha. Yeah, but we got it pre-owned with only 15K miles on it at an amazing price, so we couldn't resist. A lady drove it, too, so it was pretty well taken care of besides all the damn finger nail scratch marks behind the handles. At full price, I would have never been able to get it, though, so I got lucky. Anyway, one thing on my list is a carbon fiber engine cover, but all I've seen is the UTR one. Are there any other choices out there? That, in combination with a carbon fiber strut bar would look nasty as long as it looked tasteful and not just CF everywhere.

How about a carbon fiber 350Z engine cover? And then later on you can upgrade the plenum, powdercoat it, or polish it.

Ahh I wasn't aware that they were compatible. Nice, I'll definitely check that out.
