New Member from Mass - Just bought an 09 FX35!

well, cleaned her up over the weekend.. Now the real work begins.. Have a pretty long To-Do list this spring/summer. The previous owner must have been a bit careless and I've got some paint repair/minor body work to do but it's a good excuse to spend some quality 1 on 1 time with my new baby.

you can see the paint chip/scuff right in front of the wheel... thats first on the list!

up next is refinishing the rear bumper.. Thankfully the bumper isnt very textured, so I'm hoping I can sand these bumps out and re-dye the bumper black again..

Definitely far from the cleanest ride on here, but $22K for 35K miles was too good of a deal to pass up!

The scuff on the fender sucks, hopefully is not too much to fix. Are you going to get the aero lip?

yeah it's an eyesore, that's for sure! Bought some custom matched paint on http://www.automotivetouchup.com/ , going to do it myself as Ive got a few other spots that need some attention too.. similar scuff behind the rear passenger wheel well, and a chip out of the drivers door (someone must have opened their door into it).. Hopefully I can manage a decent paint job and feather it into the existing paint..

I have the Aero lip sitting in a box at home, the dealership threw it in 'for free' as part of the negotiation once they reached their trade in limit on my previous ride. Planning on putting it on this weekend or next! Pretty excited to get it on there, its such a necessary addition for the front end!

Can't you simply sell them and just get 2 new OEM plain headrests and pocket the difference...

I could.. but they're a cool feature, could be useful on long trips
