New member from chicago with FX50

Hey everyone, I've been on the ORG site thinking it was the only one around. Found this site recently...I bought an FX50 back in december 08. I have done a few mods but nothing big. Tinted the front windows 50% and the backs 5%, painted the grill and side vents to match color and did a V1 hardwire...Also, changed out the stock bulbs with the phillips 6000K bulbs. Here are some pix, looks like a great site you guys have here. I had a G35 before I bought the FX and I think I went a little crazy with that one lol. I had a vortech snail, custom molded bumpers and a crazy audio setup. I don't plan on doing the same with the FX but who really knows...lol... Enjoy the pix.

Yup, thats mine. I have alot of pix to post but do I really have to wait til 10 posts? If so, no biggie. I just came from chicagoz.com full of z/g guys and i have like 4000+ posts to 3 here lol.

Please do. I haven't hardwired my V1 yet like I did in my last 2 fx's. Just haven't gotten around to it. Did you wire into the mirror like usual?

you can pay more but I bought my set from a decent ebay seller and they are still working after 1.5 year or so ... I paid around $80 and got the slim electronic ballast, I remeber the parts where made in Korea. Just do a search for "slim hid" and search the 'buy it now' to get Bing cashback

Well I didn't do the hardwire myself. I had my local car audio guys do the work because I own my business right next door. They hardwired it to the cig lighter I believe (I could be totally wrong lol) but the concealed display is hidden away in the ashtray.
