Hey guys I'm new to the Infiniti Scene as I was a huge Honda fan boy for the longest time.
I'll post pictures of my TL-S when I reach 10 posts lol..
I've recently let go of my love (2007 Acura TL-S) for the past 5 years for a 2012 Infiniti FX35 LE in Iridium Blue.

I know how forums work, I've been on car forums and been a car enthusiast since I've gotten my drivers licence lol.
But instead of searching around I just have a few quick questions..

1. Are there factory Lip Kits for my car?
2. What sized tires are best for comfort on the stock 21s?
3. Is there a must have/do mod I should consider for my car?
4. Is there anything that I should worry about/change now or in the long run?

i used to be a huge honda fan aswell, had a 1994 prelude with h22a swap and all lol.
Yes there is a factory aero lip kit made by infiniti wich is awesome. But if you want it you should find one asap because i heard they are gona discontinue its production. And you have to get it for a 2010-2011 fx35 because those are the only years they manufactured it for. But it fits 2009-2015 fx/qx. I just got mine. Just havent put it on yet
Im not so sure as for comfort since the fx already comes with a beefy sport suspension. Maybe id say michelins?
iMO You should and must get the aero kit if you can, deffinitely do the 6000k head light bulbs and fog lights.
Your cars pretty new. I dont think you should worry too much besides basic maintenance and paint wax,condition your leather! To stop it from cracking.

Yes the OEM front lip will fit your ride. I have installed them on 2 different 2nd Gen FX's. The lip is a must have for looks.
As far as tires for the 21's go, you can only get the Bridgestones or Dunlops in the 21" size.

Welcome aboard! I have a full 2011 aero kit installed on my QX, so yes everything will install perfectly.

It's hard for me to find the aero kit here in Canada lol and impossible to find in my color.. Not even sure if anyone can color match my paint, but I'll continue to search around. Thanks again for the help!

You will have to get it painted but a few members here with iridium blue have done it and it looks fantastic.

Thanks GEE, curious though.. they ask to select a color and my color isn't on there lol.
Would it be possible for them to not paint the lips for a cheaper price? Has anyone tried this?

Also do you remember roughly how much you paid after conversion and s/h tax brokerage, all that nonsense.

Michael, I ordered the parts then drove to the U.S. and picked them up, so there was no Extra fees.
Years ago, I ordered a front spoiler for my G sedan from a California Dealer and if I remember correctly the s/h duties and brokerage was around $150 .
i don't believe you can get them just primed.

Welcome to iS and congrats on the ride. I have the LE as well and love it. Regarding the OEM lip kit, they are available but not in the iridium blue. I picked a random color and had to get them repainted. Sucked but Def worth it though.

Nice TL-S, pics of the engine? Never knew you could put a blower on it. I was a Honda fan boy at one point too, lived on Honda-Tech. Honda wasn't even mine, wife had an Integra show car w/ custom turbo setup.

Yeah the blower was meant to be on the 3.2 TL, but I custom fitted it onto the type-s 3.5 motor.

hows the sound note with that ARK exhaust on?
im looking into an exhaust as well and coming from a forced induction set up, i hate rasp in cabin. is there any with your set up?

The ARK sounds amazing, really brings out that VQ note that Infiniti's are known for. It's throaty just like a g37 coupe but obviously way louder. It's doesn't really rasp but it does drone a little but not bad. At highway speeds the sound is practically non existent. Very nice exhaust and in my opinion the best exhaust out for the FX period.
