New here on is from ny.

i tried but she said she didnt kno and only found out when i told her. but when i asked her before the complete sale she said "it should be coz of the snow mode button" and 3 of my friends were there when she said it but i tried calling her today by either asking her to retunr it and she said she cant, but then i asked if she could give me back $1500 back atleast she said im already gettin a deal. i even told her to take the car back and ill let her have $200-$300. but she still said no.smh sux

Wow I would be pissed. And it's not like this is something you can just brush off of your shoulders like if you were to buy the wrong thing in the store. You have to actually stick with this car like that for a while. I would demand your money back. If not take it to court!

Is it stated in the bill of sales that its AWD?

there was really no bill of sale other than signing the back of title

im giving her few more days, i told her if she can give me some money back atleast, if she doesnt want to deal with it. i work/have attorneys as clients. so im gonna see. plus i have witnesses that she said that it was awd.

That sucks. Shouldve looked underneath if you were the slight bit unsure . . or ask here first. I think you need AWD in NY, otherwise get ready to slip & slide.
I find it hard to believe that she wasnt sure what she had . . WOMEN?????

I actually CAN believe that she didn't know what she had. I was reading on a Jeep forum recently that some dude bought a used SRT8 from some lady, who said that she thought it was a v6 when she bought it from the dealer. Yea I know that's an internet story but it sounded believable.

In mass they have the lemon law when it comes to purchasing a vehicle im not sure if it works towards this but if i was you i will call her up and say you want your money back for lying to you

I don't think the lemon law applies here. But what about contacting the BBB?

No laws will apply here as this is a private sale. These laws will go after the business license of the vendor which the seller does not have. If she is not willing to negotiate, I think youre outta luck. Just make the best of it.

Spring, summer, fall seasons are fine with good tires. Allot of fxers use either the yokohama paradas or hankooks. As for the winter if you have a good pair of snow tires you should be ok. Allot of guys use the blizzaks for winter with great reviews.

thanks everyone for the welcome. and helping finding ways about this situation.
if i keep it will it be like those bmw rwd cars and like the g35 coupe(i used to have) will drive in when if it snows, that gets stucks or just spin out mostly? i kno its suv rwd but hopefully it wont be like that especially if i turn on the snow mode, right?
