My headlights are getting foggy and cracking. The lenses (not the bulb lense, but the clear housing cover) have become un-recoverable, and are riddled with micro-fractures that can't be polished out.

Does anyone know of a good source for a new set of headlights? I'd even be open to baking my headlights to remove the old lenses and install new ones (is this even an option, it kind of frightens me...). I've got the sport package and would like to retain the dark chrome housings.

Any other suggestions? (besides classifieds...)

I've been watching Ebay for a while but haven't always had the best luck with used items on the site...

Are the headlights the same on every model, or does my sport model have darker chrome headlights?

The obvious would the Stealership. There's no aftermarket headlights option. The Sport version has a darker chrome. Don't see them often.

What year is your vehicle? And what particular headlights are you looking for?

2005 fx35 sport premium. looking for the main headlight housing's front passenger side lens cover, or new headlights (would rather not if I don't have to). I was wondering if anybody made aftermarket headlights or for other information or tips anyone might have regarding replacing the headlights

Oh I have a set of headlights laying in my house but they are not the sports headlights and they came from an 08 FX35

They don't sell the lens separately so if you want to keep the darker chrome lights, then buy the set above. Or if you really are trying to save money, you could probably buy a set of regular headlights for cheap and then swap the covers but that will involve the oven. I wouldn't go this route unless you really want to save money because it's a hassle.

buy cheap headlights with good lenses and bake them and paint inside black. Then take the ones you have on your car and try and sell
