We pick up the new 2011 FX35 on 12/18 -- Black / Java, premium, splash guards, roof cross-rails. Three initial questions:
? - If we ask the dealer to remove the roof cross rails (which just happened to be on the vehicle), will there be unsightly screw holes in the roof rails? Is there any reason to leave them on (we don't like the looks, but we're not so against them that we would want screw holes to show if we asked to have them removed.)
? - Mileage to first oil and filter change? & Subsequent mileage between oil and filter changes? (dealer sales rep says 3,750 period -- but also dealer says maximum 7,500 between changes in "normal" service; sales manager says "south of 5,000 miles between all oil changes, period, end of story.") The Germans, as you know, have much longer oil-change intervals; what is the feeling here on IS?

- Coming from German cars, one feature we would like to have is to be able to depress the turn signal slightly and release it and have it blink 3 times (to signal a lane change.)
