"New" FX35 in DFW area

Greetings from a fairly new FX owner. My wife has been in minivans for the last 10 years so needless to say she is greatly enjoying her new FX {2006}.
Not interested in any mods, just hoping that in a couple of years when the warranty is out that none of these electronics have any issues!
I have a ton of reading and searching to do, but will enjoy all the information stored.
I have a "fleet" of diesel Mercedes I try to keep running for myself, so hopefully the wife's new ride will be trouble free.
BTW, some very slick avatars and graphics on this site. Nice!
 
Welcome to the Scene! Hope the wife enjoys the FX. If you ever do get the itch to mod this is the place to be!:wink:
 
welcome jimmy, if you can put up with maintaining those diesel mebe's then the fx will really be a pleasure in the maintanance department... overall mostly trouble free & reliable vehicles for sure... good luck with it:smile:
 
Congrats on the buy! My buddy drives a '80 something Mercedes diesel and i'm geussing the FX should be a bit more reliable considering there are no vacumn switches! BB
 
Geez!! It's been 3 years of ownership now. How time flies!!
The FX has been completely trouble free, except of course for the dash bubbles. :err: Well, and now a seam came apart on the drivers seat back, side, near the top! Looks hideous, will have to address at some point. :mad.:
Out of warranty now of course......
Replaced rear brake pads and a very painful experience of buying new tires. Holy crap!!
She really likes it though, so that helps. :wink:
