New FX Owner

Hi everyone, I 'm a proud owner of a 2006 FX 35 with 36,000
miles on it. I just picked it up last Sat. and can't wait to modify it.

What do you think I should do first?

Welcome!
Are you more interested in looks or performance? And think of a realistic budget over time.

welcome to iS, I would recommend H&R springs. It best of many worlds: Looks/Handling/Comfort/saves a little MPG

So I just got an '07 FX35 about a month ago and was wondering if that STB was just a straight bolt in part, or if there were other modifications that needed to be made in the engine bay to make it fit? I would also recommend either a cold air intake, or at the very least a K&N Air Filter for a little performance boost.

Welcome to iS! STB bolts right up 20 minutes. Only need two tools - box end and a wrench. I would beg to differ on the K&N drop in filter, I did it on my ride way back when and I believe the gain was little to nothing. Bradleyp - Do you have a budget for your first mod(s)?

I don't but my wife does. We just bought a new Maxima SV sport and the FX so moneys tight. Christmas is around the corner so I can always
ask Santa.

Is it just my FX or do they all ride hard? I would like to fix the quality of ride first. I'm in NJ and the roads suck.

Sweet, thanks for the info Logan.
