I picked up a new to me fx35 S51 as a new "work truck" with the intentions of leaving it stock.. that only lasted a day.
I've been modifying, wrenching on and racing cars for a good portion of my life and instantly fell in love with the FX on my first drive (which took some of the sting away from selling my CTS-V wagon and highly modified EVO). I own a graphics and film business.. yes I do wraps (and am happy to help with any questions) and needed something I can haul graphics around (and the kiddo) in that was a little more fun to drive then the jeep (gas mileage sucks, cant park in most garages) and the FX fits that perfectly.
Currently I've installed (or parts sitting in the garage waiting for some free time):
22"x10.5 Wheels (square setup)
285/35/22 Pirelli tires
TopSpeed exhaust and test pipes
Silvers neomax coilovers
lots of wrapped parts (full wrap goes on soon)
Strut tower brace
deciding between long tube intakes (Admin or Z1?)
A buddy lined up for an Ecutek tune
FX50 Brake calipers and rotors
Also considering:
Injectors (if tuner suggests upgrade)
R8 coils (if research proves their worth)
Control arms (question quality on the Megan stuff but don't seem to be other options)
Headers
ported intake manifolds (if its worth it? Anyone have a diy?)
Plans for this build is to keep it NA and just make the most out of what the car is.
