New Eibachs, fronts sits higher than back

I know, you want pics, and I will try this weekend. Front is maybe 1/2 higher. Just wanted to see if anyone else has had the same issue with the pro-kit on an FX35. They have been on for a week. Do they need more time to settle? I really don't want to have to cut them. I know they are installed correctly, but so they have to be turned a certain way where they sit in the struts perch?

Thanks in advance.

Did you install yourself? They do need to be seated in the bump stops correctly I assume. I never touched my front springs, but it was like this in the rear.

The fronts really can only go it one way. I did them myself. Done springs before, so nothing new. The FX has 25k miles on it so i don't think the rear shocks are worn. Are the springs supposed to give it a rake or make the FX level? I will give it a month to settle before I do anything....

If anything it would give a rake, not a reverse-rake. At least you did it yourself so you know if it went on right to the best of your knowledge.
Have you given it a good shake back and forth, or at least done some sharp turns? That seemed to help my springs settle back down after being up on jack stands.

That was what I thought initially when I got my H&R, but I think I was on an uneven surface.

You should make sure you are sitting on an even surface

The 35's tend to look a bit higher in the front with the eibach's but given a little time to settle in and it will even out a bit but the wheel gap tends to still there a bit even after it settles.

Thanks, I have been driving it for a week now, but I plan on taking it off some sweet jumps to see if it helps.....;-)

If your just looking at the drop visually then there is a bigger arch to the front wheel well then the back. This makes the front look higher then the rear on the lowered 35's, just a visual effect. Most likely your drop is even but just looks higher because of higher front wheel well. 45's drop lower in the front because of the weight of the v8.

the fornt is always a tiny bit higher than the back. thats why people cut the front ones sometimes. mine is the same way

Still working on pics. Actually ended up cutting a 1/4 coil off. The part number is 6366.540. I might end up doing a 1/2 coil total. I will post pics when finished.
