Might be able to pull it off in black, but in other colors it's too noticeable for me.

This reminds me, still hoping to hear if Viet ever got those diff mounts made with the larger bolt size, or anything for camber in the rear. Need to fix that soon.
 
Wondering if you have to use the older style grille also. Would be cool to be able to use the badgeless one though.

Would be nice to pick one up now, even if I wait to paint/install sometime down the road, especially if it needs a group buy to get them. Is there an updated price?
 
I would buy if shipping dont kill me...I just wish it wasnt fiberglass

Agreed with your thought on the glass Jef, one firm hit and it's a PITA.

Oh it's fiberglass? Damn, I read Jeff's post as saying "I wish it was fiberglass"

I know one of my Z friends here has repaired his bumper himself, and well it didn't exactly look awesome but he mostly does track stuff so he cared more about it being fixed than looking good.
 
Jeff, I might be interested in buying the front bumper (that'd be 2 bumpers heading to T.O if you're still interested). Is there any pictures of this front bumper with stock fenders?
 
What is the price of this, has it been discussed before? Do we have to lose the fog lights with this bumper?
I was thinking of getting a stock replacement bumper because stupid license plate holes are really bothering me. But if this can be had at a reasonable price I would go with this bumper.
 
I'd be in; I've been wanting to get this for a while just kept putting it off for other projects. I think it would be cool to use the extra openings to mount oil and tranny cooler. For those of you worried about fiberglass, I wouldn't worry too much. Our cars are really high off the ground, most kits get taken out by hitting the ground. And fiberglass is cheap to repair. I've daily driven several cars with fiberglass bumpers and much, much lower than the FX. It's not that bad.

If you take a rock or a tire with the OEM bumper, you probably have to get it repaired. Same with a fiberglass bumper, it will just require more repairs...

Bumper will be $450 on a GB basis (not including shipping), fog lights will go away. Also there will be paint and installation costs on top of purchase price.

thanks. Do you guys have these GBs often? I want this but I am gonna have to wait till spring, no sense of getting it now, I am looking at 6 more months of winter
 
Five to reach GB status, if we go over maybe we can do better on the price.

Again the fogs are gone but as as Andy said if you like you can easily run leds instead.
