Thanks everyone for the compliments! I could not be happier with the way it turned out, not too crazy, just the right amount new lines to compliment the ones already there. But now I can't stop thinking about bags to finish the look. Damn it rookie! Again, thanks for helping me with my project and getting me sick with the mod bug again. I thought I was all done last year, but phase 3 has started.

Ok,

Viet sent me the pix. I like it :cool:

Now the questions is... custom or will it be produced for the public? If it will be produced, price??

Sort of looks like Viet's kit from the front. I couldn't really tell if the rear was altered.

EDIT: Based on the previous post, looks like it is custom =(

Hey Mark, new paint? The kit is just what i've been waiting for...I love it! I put a purdy good gouge in the front bumper this Wednesdays, hit a small pole at the front of a parking spot...ala Dave. This kit came to mind instead of painting the bumper. So...how soon can I get my hands on one.

We'll see how the demand for the sides pans out. I can't sink money into the mold if no one wants to buy the kit. No one will want the front without the sides so rock-hardplace

:mad::mad::mad:

at the prices you were estimating in the other thread I think there would be some demand for your kit... there is nothing else like it, no other alternatives, & especially the fact that it looks very nice & not too too extreme I think youd be able to do numbers with these... depends how many numbers you need for it to be worthwhile.. I would think 10 kits could be sold in a few months at least... good luck with it either way, but I think there'd be several takers, even if the price had to be slightly higher than you were guessing...

LOL Dave, thats exacly how i felt. I parked at the end of the parking spaces and a little over the line so not to get a door ding. The pole was 1/3rd the size of that one......I never saw it.

I always laugh when guys blame the pole, the tree, the parked car, the fire hydrant... you can't blame something that is stationary when you're the one moving!!!:tongue:

The prices I guessed are pretty safe guesses.

450 for the front without the mesh, the mesh is not made by me or painted by us. It's a plastic material that does not chip. Ends up being 50 for the mesh with shipping. http://www.customautomesh.com/store/index.php?act=viewProd&productId=34

Sides would be targeted at being under 500.

I still think my need for 4-5 prepaid orders on the sides would be the deciding factor to make a mold of the sides. I would still have to come out of pocket to make the molds.
