2010 FX35
Hi everyone,

Just wanted to say hi. Got my 2010 FX35 earlier this week, black on graphite, premium/NAV packages. Was deciding between 2009 and 2010, no more paddles on FX35 for 2010, but the new NAV/AUDIO interface is much nicer, plus I got similar-to-2009-pricing for a 2010, just couldn't resist

My bro bought an EX35 earlier this year, and I had the chance to see how nice Infinitis are. The FX is, IMO, the most sporty SUV out there, and I'm more of a Japanese car guy than an European car guy, so no BMWs for me.

I came from a car-modding family, my previous car, a 2000 GS300, had lots of modifications too, so I'll be doing some mods as well. Stay tuned.

I will put up some pics when my post count goes over 10

Welcome to the Scene! Bolt on mods will be pretty scarce for 2nd generation FX's.

Hey congrats on your 2010 FX. And welcome!

So far, the 2010 FX has dropped the shift paddles and scratch shield paint. Weird?

Welcome to IS. Congrats on your new vehicle. Too bad the 2010's don't have the paddle shifters. FX's should come with a hand brake, and option for paddle shifters or a true manual 6 speed transmission, IMO...sigh.

I wasn't sure if the 2010 dropped the scratch shield paint until you guys confirmed it now. My bro told me it was dropped but I refuse to believe it

Paddles are now a part of the sport package on the FX50 only, sucks.

Also for 2010 they revised the package so that premium package no longer includes sport pedals, cargo cover and the cargo net. The pedals and the covers are now a part of the Deluxe Touring package, which I don't want, because it has wood

I did testdrive both the 2009 and 2010 to compare the nagivation interface. The 2010 has high resolution navigation maps, and the whole scheme is different. The 2009 interface is identical to my brother's 2008 EX35.

The first mod I have is trying to integrate my iPod touch into the system, without using the USB connector. I have a lot of Chinese and Japanese songs in my iPod, which the factory unit can't properly display on the screen. I will use the AUX input, so that way I can get video as well.

Future mods on the horizon, H&R springs, factory aero kit, and 20" wheels. And there are some exterior pieces that I would like to black out

thanks. Now I hope the FX is released in Japan as a "Fuga Crossover" or something, to boost aftermarket support.

same here, no BMW or Audi for me, I am into Japanese car.:shy:

same problem for me, tons of chinese songs cannot display correctly, which mean the system doesn't support unicode....:err:

BTW, congrats on your 2010 FX!

Congrats on the new purchase! I got a '10 loaner for a day and it was really nice!

I say go 22" on the wheels

love the fx but, no BMW's?!?!?!

BMWs are great cars but it's a family tradition to be against BMWs  My dad is a mercedes guy and I've been a Lexus fan for 10 years. Now an Infiniti fan:tup:

I also got extended warranty up to 7year/100k miles and the elite maintenance package for 5 year/75k miles, so I'll be set on my maintenance for years to come. Plus I can even get loaner cars for oil changes :glasses:

Congrats on your FX and welcome to the scene. If you get wheels, I would say go with 22's also.

Finally, some photos.
