New 2008 FX35 RWD in AZ

Hi guys,

Just wanted to say hi and that I truly appreciate the vast amount of knowledge I've been able to find here along with the great attitudes. i've had my FX for a little over 2 yrs now, and I think I'm about ready to start the modding. I have a silver/graphite Prem, with Tech. I still have the stock 18s, but I'm trying to decide on what wheels to upgrade to eventually. Have to say, this site is such a bad influence. Heh

I've already ordered some new KYBs along with new strut bearings since they really started bouncing around over the last few months (70k mi. so far). I will be dong it myself thanks to the excellent how-to posted here and figured that I may as well do H&Rs at the same time. Any recommendations for ordering the springs?

Have you already bought the new shocks and struts? I kinda wish I had just skipped the H&R's and gone straight to the Coilovers.

So you might want to look into that. Its an easier install (as long as you have a spring compressor), and its not that much more money cause you dont need new shocks and struts.

EDIT: Oh and welcome to the site!
 
Welcome to :iS:. H&R springs is very popular choice. We have them in stock. Let me know if you are interested.
 
Thanks meme405. Yeah, already ordered the struts and shocks. I did toss around the idea of coil overs but wanted to stay closer to 500 for parts. More for wheels and tires later on. :)

Thanks again guys. I can't stress enough how much this site has already helped me out. Swapped my brakes and found some great ideas for future mods while lurking here. Don't think I'll be delving too much into engine mods, but another project planned already is putting in the FX45 rear sway.
 
Welcome to the Scene. Try looking into the few recalls such as: dashboard, odo miles, headlights and etc...
