New 2008 FX35 Owner

Just wanted to say hi, just purchased a 2008 FX35 RWD (Copper w\ brick interior) for my wife. I have always loved these cars, and I was very happy she agreed with me :smile (2):.

Anyways, we have just been going over the car and cleaning/conditioning the seats. This car is in really good shape. It has 73K on the odo, but I'm not worried about that. It has been serviced regularly and taken care of. I'm going to change the oil in about 1,000 miles with M1 extended performance 5W-30, with mobile 1 oil filter. I'm assuming this is the norm with these cars?

I am sure I will have more comments/questions soon.

Welcome to :iS2: and congrats on the nice new ride. M1 5W30 is what I use in my FX35 also.

I use Purolator PureOne oil and M1 5W30 filter for over 15 years in different cars without one single engine problem. There are so many good oil filter, but that combo works for me :smile (2):

I recently switched to use the Rotella T6 oil in my 45. Will have see how this oil holding itself.
 
My combo is Royal Purple 5W-30 and K&N Oil filter....car runs great after oil change and it just seems to have more ooomphh.
