New 05 FX35 owner with some questions!

I'm glad to become a part of this section now :).

Getting some warranty work while the car is still covered, and had a couple of questions:

1. Car makes a click/pop sound as it enters an inclined driveway. Sound doesn't happen all the time, but on certain bumps and types of approaches. I read that this could be due to the fender bolt on some FXs? Is there an official TSB for this?
2. The fuel guage doesn't seem to read accurately (I hope). The gauge said I had used 1 qtr tank with only about 45 miles used on the odo. The computer trip meter said iwas around 17 mpg...that math doesn't work.

Thanks!

let me know what the dealer tells you about the click noise. I notice it also when I go over speed bumps (passenger side)

as for #2, what does the computer / odom say when you run a full tank (how many miles)? Do you have aftermarket rims? or different tires? that can throw off the "accuracy".

I got nearly 350 or so on a full tank. It seems like the 1st half is very inaccurate, but then it catches up. I heard there was a TSB for the fender bolt for the clicking noise...

not sure, seems like the tsb is only 03-04

Doesn't look like there is a tsb for that problem past 04.

I called up Cheryl from Metro Infiniti and she told me to bring it in and have a tech hear it before they take it.

Well my warranty expires in NOV, so I can do that.

#2 -

could be the fuel senders goin bad.....mine were replaced under warranty.

350 sounds about right. I get between 320-420 depending on how much highway I drive
