New 03 FX35 Owner: Beginner in the ways of Automotive Work

Hey everyone, I’m Geoff.
I am the proud new owner of a 2003 Infiniti FX35 RWD!

A friend of mine of mine gave me his old car for only $200 back in December. It’s definitely seen better days. Lol!

I’ve decided this will be the vehicle that i will use to learn everything i can about cars (Maintenance, upgrades, performance).

Before having this car I provided myself on being the type of person who call AAA for tire changes and didn’t even know anything about oil changes or much less how to do one. When I would open the hood of a car, I had no idea what I was looking at.​

I am super excited about all the future projects I have for this car. It’s been really fun learning so far. I’ve actually developed quite the hobby.
Now I’m looking at all these engine upgrades and things I can do. Never thought I’d be the type of person that would be this into cars. But I’ve definitely been bit by the auto mechanic bug! lol!!

Congrats on the vehicle, and very happy about your enthusiasm to learn. One valuable resource will be to search and watch youtube videos to give you an idea on what you are trying to do. Especially with the maintenance items.
