Hey guys just noticed my rear wheels are negetive cambered. Wasn't like this about. 6 months ago when I got my springs put in. But just wondering after af months of settling in it went negetive and I'm just wondering is it ok for it to be like that besides the uneven wear down on the inside tires? Like will it effect anything in the near future that will harm my ride? Thanks

I've been running on -1 degree offspec on the passenger rear ever since I lowered my car.

My old set of tires had no noticeable camber wear. I'm more concerned with tire wear related to inadequate tire balancing.

I corrected my rear camber on my Acura TL-S and the aftermarket adjustable control arm snapped on the freeway and spun out the car in the middle of the freeway with my wife who was 9 months pregnant at the time. My car wasn't damaged and my wife wasn't hurt, but after this incident, I just decided to eat the cost of tire wear. I see it as a cost of playing with the car.

Just have the alignment checked. the rears usually will come into spec with stock adjustments.

to correct our rear camber in our FX will involve well known manufactures (H&R, etc) parts, also they are bolts, should not ever snap on you.

As for the after market control arm, that is the whole part that is under constant stress right?

Ok I have not cut my springs our the mounts. And yea its like -1 or -2 degrees off onb both rear tires. So after reading everything I don't got anything to worrie about then right besides tire wear?

Yes. I learned not to mess with that part the hard way... actually my wife..

You only have to worry about your tires getting eaten up a little faster in the inside. You can remedy this problem with frequent tire rotation.

Yes, but I would suggest getting a alignment done and the camber corrected back within spec if possible. Why put uneven wear on your tires and prematurely replace them.

From experience, unbeknown to me my front tires were out of spec with neg. camber and once day I notice a slapping sound coming from the front of the FX. I took a look and one of the front tires developed a rip and tore off on the inner part of the tire.

An alignment will fix the problem Dopie unless your camber is so out of spec they are unable to bring it back within spec with the oem setup. Even if that was the case you will probably only be very slightly off. Then to ultimately get that last bit corrected you will have to get a camber kit. But I doubt you will need to do that.

All this time I thought you had your alignment done and still had negative camber like me. Alignment will correct most of your problems. Since you haven't had your alignment checks, I bet you the toe is hurting your tires more than your camber
