2010 fx35 awd
I have had my 2010 fx35 since aug of this year i got it with 10k it now has 13k. For the last 2 week i notice that when i hit the gas to accelerate fast or slow down at high speeds the (BRAKE) light turns on for a second on the dashboard and turns right off. Also at times the (VDC OFF) and (slippery light) comes on at the same time but doesnt turn off until i turn off and on the car. anyone could help me figure out what goin on. i didnt get the car from a infiniti dealer i got it from a used car toyota dealer..

May be something as simple as low brake fluid. Would have it looked at by dealer or good brake shop.

Maybe they hit the ABS sensor on the wheel bearing assembly. I'd take it to the dealership for this issue since you have all sorts of lights coming on.

Same thing happend to me (only when i accelerate never when i brake). Turned out to be the rear pads. They were worn. Changed them and the problem was solved. The lights never came back again.

i hope thats the only issue, did all the same lights come on your car?

+++1 its probably the brake fluid. I'm sure its a little low and as you accelerate/decelerate it swashes back and forth and the sensor is reading it low at times. I would check it before you go to the dealer. If that isn't the problem have them check it out.

def low brake fluid. replacing the rear pads will compress the pistons & cause the fluid level to go back up, so it may seem that cured the problem, & in a sense it did, but the original fault to cause the light would have been low fluid.

now for the fluid to be low is usually an indication of worn brakes because the fluid gets low as the piston displaces the space that the worn pads used to occupy... I'd check the pads & if there ok just add a little brake fluid... DON'T fill it all the way up though because when you do eventually have to do the pads all the excess fluid will be expelled from the master cylinder at that point if it's filled all the way...

thanks i am goin to check the fluid soon

^^I agree, that has happened to my last 2 Infinitis. Low Brake Fluid, it usually means your pads are getting worn.

i appreciate you taking the time out to explain the situation of what it could be, i was a lil nervous at first but doesnt seem to crazy now.. i think it does have something do with my pads cause i was hearing the brakes squeaking from time to time. for now ill just add some brake fluid i made an appoinment for next friday in infiniti of manhattan...

I can also confirm this is due to low break fluid, or worn pads (which aren't likely the case since your car has such low mileage). I had this and just had my rear pads replaced. I had 35K though...

Thanks to all that helped me out, my brake fluid was low i went to autozone last nite and put some in and light havent came back on yet. now i am wondering if my pads are low if so which ones

Mike if you have to add fluid it definitely is a good idea to check your brake pads. They may have worn down some but still have life left in them. I know the low level brake fluid warning is extremely sensitive.

yea i already have an appointment for next friday to drop off car to dealer...
