Hey fellas- Ordering the parts to do suspension work for my wifes 05 FX35 ( 165K) from Rockauto.com and I have few questions.
Here's my list of parts:

Tie rod left outer Moog ES800428 & Tie rod right outer Moog ES800429
( Only thing I don't like is no cotter pin )

Question 1: Am I better getting AC delco , that have pins ?

2 rear shocks KYB 349027 GR-2 / Excel-G

Front struts: KYB KIT339056 GR-2 / Excel-G -This is RockAuto's kit that includes both front KYB struts and bellows for $145

Question 2: Is this the correct part for my upper bearings ? KYB SM5409 Includes Bearing Front; Mount and Bearing

Am I overlooking anything else? Thanks :good:

1) I think it should be fine since it is using a lock nut with the nylon bushing instead of a plain nut.
2) I highly recommend you replace the strut bearing while you at it. I see Rockauto sell the mount and bearing. You can get just the bearing from Infiniti dealer

All parts in..... Got the strut bearings yesterday and all the othestuff fom rockauto. Com
Does anyone know why the factory shop manuals don't have the nut and bolt sizes listed? Shows torque settings etc, but no help with making sure you have all the wrenches and sockets to do the front suspension.
Can anyone lead me in the right direction for my weekend project.
BTW, the service manuals i got from infinitihelp. Com website. Thanks

Update: Got everything installed and the car ride is %100 better. One big problem i ran into was with the springs. I rented the 2 piece version of the compressor from autozone and i remember hearing here that you have to get 3 springs on the tool. Well one piece i could get 3 but the other side only allows 2 springs to be grabbed, due to being on the seat. Well i felt comfortable undoing the center nut and all went good, but getting it back together was impossible. Had to go to goodyear, who did it for free. How the heck can you grab 3 springs from each side when one of the sides has less accessible springs due to being on the seat?
