Need some guidance

I wouldnt trust everything on carfax......

I completely agree. I use the carfax mainly to immediately dismiss a car that shows something wrong. If it does, i completely dismiss. If it doesn't, I inquire further but I don't put all my eggs into that basket.

FINALLY! After weeks of looking for the right vehicle; even cross shopping '05 Acura RL's and '05 Audi A6's I came across the right deal.

$18,000 for a 2004 Infiniti Fx35, Only 37k miles and it's fully optioned with technology and touring package. It wasn't my preferred color combo; it's the lighter silver as opposed to the dark grey (which was my preferred) but it has the interior that I want(black). I was trying to buy an '06 at auction but when all fees were included they were running close to 22k and I refuse to spend $4k on JUST an updated interior.

Anyway, I'm very happy with my decision and I think I'm getting a great value vehicle. I wasn't looking for something too expensive as next year I plan on re-purchasing another e46 M3. I had to sell mine because I needed a more reliable daily driver but I can't help but miss her.

My first mods are going to be the sport tails and the momo shifter and/or 06 shifter. After that I'm going to look into a cold air-intake and maybe a dashboard kit, depending on how the interior warms up to me. I've never been a mod junkie so I have no idea what I'll be getting myself. I'm going to take it easy, all the mods I did on my m3 were mostly cosmetic and I don't see myself breaking that mold. Anyway, I hope to have pictures up as early as I can.
