On the 2nd part of the question , yes you can relearn the window up feature , you need to take the door panel off , I've had to do this on my QX and a 350z before and it can be done but I am going to try the other thing first.

Not sure about the 1st Gens but for the 2nd Gens all you have to do to reprogram the auto window feature is roll the window up while holding the window switch in the up position. After the window closes completely you must continue to hold the window switch in the up position for 5 seconds before releasing it. To be on the safe side I recommend holding it up for longer than 5 seconds just to make sure you at least hold for the required 5 seconds.

This should help those who feel like the window still closes in a rough manner after this install. Some guys on the original Weather Tech thread for the 2nd Gen vent visor had issues with the windows auto feature as well.
