Hey guys, Just installed front/rear brake pads and rotors (posi quiets and blank rotors. rotorpros gave me a great deal btw). I have a slight "scratching" sounds that is going a way slowly, not not totally gone after 2 days of driving but slowly. I also heard a few "clunking" noise while cruising at slow speeds (10 mph). Today is the third day and both noise are gone. Not a sound from rotors or pads. This is the first time i installed pads/rotors. So my question is:

1) is there an INNER and OUTER pads for a 2006 FX35?

2) there is a little spring/clip on the bracket that holds the pads in, does the little clip on the spring go into the oval loop that is the wear sensor that is attached to the break pad itself?

3) does the wear indicator have to be on the inner side of the rotor and pointed down.

let me know guys dont want to drive the fx if i installed it all wrong ;)

Would be able to help you out a lot better if you could posts a few photos of your install.

It should not be possible to install the pads incorrectly - in terms of inside pad / outside pad. If things have been working for a couple days, you are probably fine. Incorrect installs are generally loud and/or not smooth during braking.

Not to change the subject but where can I get some good driller rotors and good brake pads for my car to replace the oem ones?
