Hey Guys,

I recently purchased a set of LED Angel Eye Halos from Extreme Designz, but I only found one place here in Seattle that would install them. The crappy part is that they're asking $300!!

That price seems really expensive to me, so I was wondering if we had any DIY instructions or if someone has a write-up with pictures. It doesn't seem like it would be too difficult to do, after removing the front bumper, and the headlights themselves.

Any help you guys can provide is appreciated. Thanks!

Wait..Extreme Designz?? Is Marus back?? Hey where exactly did you get the halos from? Can you send the link?

@RIPnFX - Thanks for the link. That's a really great write up.
@wlvrn97 - I don't know who Marus is, but I can't post links yet... Do search on eBay for "fx35 Dtrl" and you can see them.

I picked up a pair of Umnitza Orion V2s....just seem like better quality to me. They are also LEDs but the rings are enclosed in a clear casing so they look almost
factory quality. Just have to find the time to get them installed now :)

Unless they change to a difference cover already... the cover over the ring makes the ring too thick. If you look at the pictures on their ebay listing the headlight was not completely sealed. They just lay the ring over the shroud and the lens and the back of the housing was lose. The ring over the turn signal will rub against the lens of the headlight. You will have to add spacer to set the lens of the headlight out and then slap lots of butyl or silicone to seal the lens against the housing. Higher chance of leaking.

Oh nooo...thx Andy. But another member here....DaveButcher has the Umnitzas installed and he did not mention any issues with installing them. These
are a newer version and I believe they should fit ok. I guess we will see...

That's right Dave have those AE. I do remember John (turbocad) was not please when he had to work on a set for a member.
