Need help choosing my new bumper

If you are going for looks, get your old bumper fixed and put the money towards a nice set of wheels.
 
Get a rental, let turbo fix your current bumper,.. simple as that. We are talking turbocad here.

Turbo has even said that he could custom spray paint infinitiscene.com down the side of your FX, covered in 20 coats of clear.
 
I vote 2012, but not just because of the damage. I want to the the face lift and would admire the upgrade. In your case, it doesn't sound like you're really into it and you want the convenience of a quick fix. The face lift may not be for you and that's okay. In this case for you, fix the same bumper.
 
Thanks for all the suggestions guys. I ended up just going with a brand new bumper instead of upgrading.

I contacted many Infiniti dealers and the 2012 bumper price is up to $350 now and their wanting $275 to ship via Fedex because of the size of the package. Plus $100 to ship the grille and another $320 on top of that for the grille o__0

I said hell no and ended up getting a sweet deal on a brand new bumper on eBay for only $150!!!!!!!!! They shipped it out today and it's being delivered directly to the master himself, Turbocad :smug:

I chose Turbocad not only because of his skills but I've seen his work on here and he seems like a perfectionist. :top:

For $375 of combined shipping I could forget the upgrade and get the rest of the aero kit for the rear.

Oh by the way I spoke to someone at Infinitiparts and he told me the front around view camera would need to be replaced too. He said cause the current camera is mounting in the top point of the bumper. On the 2012 models the camera is now mounted in the emblem. He said they don't fit and would need to be changed.

You made a good decision man, now you can use the $ for other mods

I don't understand why these dealers are charging for shipping. DEALER in Chicago doesn't charge if you pick it up at the service center or if their parts truck delivers it to your door :confused:

Yeah who knows maybe that camera is different in terms of wiring. I found out the camera cost $670 too :eek.:

The original plan was to get the 2012 front end and black out the grille.

I did call some local dealers about pick up but they offered no discount so it was about the same price as just buying online and paying shipping.
