Good idea. I have to go back to the dealer next week since they were waiting to get a part in so I'll have a chance to do that. I think they have a black 2012 on the lot.

Nah my bumper is completely pitted and has rock chips. I'm also wanting to get rid of the liscence plate holes.

yeah man, the damage on your bumper is very minimal, no reason to get a new one other than the convenience of driving it while the other gets done. also are you sure you're counting the full cost, are fog lights or lower trims different? what about the fender liners?

I don't think a little over a grand is too much to spend for the facelift, IF you like it...

I suggest 1st gen conversion because it's still the best and then conversion to my custom front bumper :wink (2):

Oh yeah never even thought about the fender lining and foglights. Those may be different too.

And forgot to mention I can't get this bumper repaired because I need my car everyday. I'd rather get a new bumper online and just drop it off at Turbo's place and let him paint it. Actually when I order it I'm having the bumper delivered directly to him.

Now it's really starting to sound like it's not worth it. The foglights are definately going to be another $300 and the fender lining another $100. That is if I need those pieces. I'm still not sure if my old foglights fit.

The fog lights are just superficial. It's just a chrome trim on the cover. You can probably still use your existing fogs. Unless that opening is really different, but they should be hot swappable.
