Need an opinion on wheel color for my 20's

Hey guys,

After this coming winter I am planning on repainting my 20' BOSS 328 wheels.

You might be asking yourselves why I would want to repaint them. Well, here's the story:
When I first purchased my Black 09 FX50, I had the dealership put them on for me (as I was picking it up in November - winter). I wanted to use them for the winter as I did not want to keep the OEM's during the harsh winter months (retains value of the vehicle). I got them at a really good price so I decided to use them for the winter.

Three months after driving, the wheels started to have the paint chipping off. So I contacted the manufacturer, and they told me to deal with the distributor (Eagle Alloys in Toronto). Long story short, after a long back and forth, they didn't want to cover the repainting of the wheels as they said that they weren't made for winter conditions (I agree BUT NOT AFTER 3 MONTHS!)

Nevertheless, now I'm stuck to repaint them myself. So, I would like to know from you guys which color (or color code) would go nice with my black FX50. Though I WOULD LOVE to repaint them in the same "black diamond" color, it would be rather risky and expensive to have them done in the same color --> I don't want the chrome look to start fading or chipping away since I would be driving it during the winter months. I'm currently thinking of painting them in either black or gunmetal. Preferably, the best would be to have the wheels done in the same color as the grille, but that would probably have to be a special color code (EXPENSIVE!). I might be wrong though, but I started looking into pricing, and pricing for any non chrome color would come out to $75 CAD/wheel. I'm open for suggestions.

I appreciate all your help guys!

Thanks in advance!

^^agree with sexualchocolate on the powdercoat (will def hold up better for you)
As for a color option to match your sweet fx50 I'd either do a gunmetal grey like Sydney or a gloss black.

Thanks guys. I'm probably thinking of leaning more towards the gunmetal look. If any of you have pics of other FX's with other wheel colors, feel free to post!
