I wouldn't buy the eline from R1 ..... go with the Premium .... I have the R1 Premium Drilled/Slotted .... have had them on for about 30 days and am happy with them .... I did cough up the extra coin to purchase my pads as well as SS brake lines ........

1. Lines - StopTech SS (F&R)
2. Hawk Performance Ceramic (F&R)

When I picked out the brakes it was a Temp solution as I knew I would be going to a BBK after some additional Mods ...... I don't track my FX so I cannot speak to the hard driving that occurs - however; for everyday driving this is a good set-up for a DD ........

I am only going to a BBK for the visual appearance - the difference in stopping power from OEM to my current set-up is night and day .... the SS brake lines offer a HUGE improvement with brake pedal feel and the Hawk ceramic pads throw off almost no dust and offer a real bite to the rotor .... stopping power feels better and they are super quiet ........

If you are looking for better stopping power and GREAT pedal feel then the above set-up might be what you are looking for plus the pads keep your wheels super clean!!!

I have had both Hawk HPS and HP Ceramic, I was seeing more brake dust from the HPS than I would have liked and the Ceramics did not stop nearly as well. A friend of mine recommended EBC Red Stuff pads and I could not be happier! There will be some dusting in the bedding process of this pad but once you are through that they are quiet, very clean and bite very well. Really the best of all worlds...

A great place to get them is http://www.zspeedperformance.com. They deal mostly with Nissan Z and Infiniti G stuff but can get the pad you need.
 
I looked at EBC ..... I do agree you don't get the bite from the ceramic you can from the HPS ..... Hopefully I won't need to turn the rotor's and try another pad ..... will be changing them out again. ;)

Another source for the brake pads and they carry EBC as well is http://www.autoanything.com - typically they run sales and free shipping with 10% - 15% off of their prices.
 
Agree w/ the above...I have the R1 Eline slotted (should've gone Premium but going BBK soon) and the Hawks HPS after having ceramic before. The bite is much better but they do give off a lot of dust which is annoying....
