I'm seriously considering doing this mod. I found a company that has high-performance matte black wraps. They have 60"X50 yards for $300. You can wrap 3 cars with that.

I've talked to a friend who's done parts of this car and he's been happy. According to the company who makes it, it's good for 10 years and it wont fade. My concern is the added heat on the hood. Also, the material is very thin and can be wrapped around anything and later be removed.

It looks amazing. But it's not something you want to wing. It's a time consuming and finicky process. I would have it done professionally. But then again I have zero patience.

That is soooo sick - I've been wondering about a 'murdered' out FX and this is exactly it!
And to think it's vinyl is almost even better!

If anyone figures out a company that can match the price in the US, keep us posted!

Next step is to change whatever is "chromed" (emblems and exhausts tips) to a brushed aluminum ( I remember a British guy do that color scheme with a chopper... It looked very industrial)

I wonder how it would look to do only the hood or only the roof, etc. With the stick ons, guess you could always stop there or take it away if you didn't like it. I'm also interested in photos of the seams - I'd like to see how the job was customized. Please take more photos and post!
